Of course it’s possible! I would recommend you a very short pixie cut, like Anne Hathaway’s or Natalie Portman’s.
One thing to have in mind, though, is that if you feel like letting your hair grow out again, there might be some stages in that process in which your hair will be a bit tricky to style and “control” (but then again, how likely is the thought of ever wanting to grow it back out - right?!)

Cutting your hair has to be your decision. If your dad loves you he will keep doing so, you no matter what haircut you’ve got. Make him understand why you want to cut your hair and that it would mean a lot to you if he’d let you. Don’t plead and beg or whine – simply tell him that you really want to cut your hair, and remind him of the fact that hair grows back.
